1973 - Grew up in Denver, Colorado
Went to school for computers & criminal justice. I've always been drawn to modern art, sculpture, mechanicals, electronics, and architecture. Unfortunately, I didn't learn how any of these things can be part of everyday life and commerce till just a few years ago.
1996 - Moved to Brooklyn.
Worked in technology sales during the hardware boom. Laid off from security firm & turned stay at home dad.
2001 - Started making lamps & furniture. Called it eXoticforms.
Selling lamps at shows, commissions by interior designers & short run fabrication for TimeOut magazine,
2002 - Many group shows in Brooklyn including:
Photography - Sunny's Bar | Redhook.
Lamps - DUMBO Open Studios 2002 with James Cospito & Jim McDermott.
2006 - Moved to Freeport, Maine.
Built an awesome studio.
Group shows @ Freeport Square Gallery & Maine Arts workshop.
Selling bows to retail and wholesale.
2010 - Moved back to Brooklyn.
Commuted to Maine a few time per month.
Sold Maine property. All shop equipment stored in 2012.
2011 - Full time freelance web development & media making.
WordPress & project management at Strut NYC.
